HI! Major Ursa here, just want to give y’all a short insight into who I am, and how I got to this point. I am an electrician by trade, working in low volt solutions for high end residential. I became injured earlier this year and finally had some time to pursue this dream. I’m an all grown up Mid-Western farm boy from Indiana. Yeah, 4-H, county fairs, kissing a summer sweetheart under the arena bleachers, all that. I’m a Dead Head, and that gypsy lifestyle led me down a life of several adventures all leading me to become an eternally grateful recovered addict, clean and sober for over 10 years, a humble and grateful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and a father. Blessed with a child and later more children to provide for, i began looking for alternative sources of income and began to get into stocks and crypto late 2015. By 2019, i was wrecked, and thoroughly disappointed in a system i had full belief really could help so many people. Instead the whole crypto world quickly became ridden with scam artists and get rich quick schemers selling the masses on hype. I started calculating and documenting flaws of all the systems that had failed me and became determined to build something real, built to last, built to grow simply through community participation. Built with a reward system that rewards participation the most. Without going back to school at the time, which just wasn’t a feasible or realistic option, I gave up temporarily. Then, while trading in late 2024, i came across a small project that seemed to have exactly the mindset and roadmap i had in my mind for enriching the lives of thousands of people. The problem with that ended up being the dev teams own greed that turned that project into moon dust. And that’s when I quit relying on other people to create what i knew was possible and started developing Major Ursa’s Mining Pool. An ecosystem built with true community mindset instead of singular or team greed. I’m not here promising overnight riches. Instead, I’m providing a free to join and free to earn community for anyone, a community of crypto survivors willing to participate and grow together! Welcome aboard!
